Setup prompt + walkthrough

The Local SEO Agency Page Builder setup prompt + walkthrough

Paste this into any capable agent and it walks you through the connections, the trigger, and a supervised first run — the whole setup, in your own words. Or skip the setup and run this exact agent hosted.

Set up an agent for me, in its own chat, that does the work of a Local SEO Agency Page Builder. Work from the files and facts I actually give it, rank what matters by impact rather than by how many items it found, and stop short of sending, filing, posting, or changing anything live unless I ask for that in the same run. Walk me through connecting deploy target, email address, email IMAP, email password, email SMTP, GH token, OpenRouter, and Stripe. Have it run whenever I hand it the work, and every weekday morning on whatever I left unfinished. Ask me where the source material lives, who should receive the output, and what good enough looks like for a first pass. Run one pass while I watch, then save it.

About this template

Run a local web-design agency out of one VM

If you sell landing pages to HVAC, dental, legal or contractor clients, this Hermes agent runs the whole loop: brief, design, preview, cold email, payment, live on their domain.

It builds the site before it pitches.

An agency design process, not a template dump

Most AI site builds open the editor and guess at "beautiful."

The design-site skill works the way real landing pages get made. It shortlists live reference sites first, frankensteins a creative brief out of them ("layout from A, palette from B, type from C"), plans the sections, grounds the tokens in a Google design.md spec, then writes the Astro + Tailwind v4 site. When round one is wrong, you fix the brief — not the components.

On top sits the conversion stack a local service business needs: benefit-led hero, trust bar, tap-to-call, real reviews, short quote form.

What lands in your fork

Six skills:

  • design-site — inspiration-first Astro + Tailwind v4 landing pages
  • cold-outreach — build-first outreach from Hermes's native mailbox: personalized, low-volume, with an unsubscribe, plus follow-ups
  • host-deploy — per-client Caddy hosting on a VPS you own, or Vercel Pro; also the preview URL
  • stripe-billing — payment link, detect the payment, gate go-live on it clearing
  • client-repo — one git repo per client: Astro project, BRIEF.md, DESIGN.md, client.json
  • screenshot — desktop + mobile PNGs for previews and the "you're live" email

None of the six is an SEO tool. This builds and ships the pages a local agency sells — keyword research, Google Business Profile and rank tracking are not in the box.

What you supply (BYOK)

Set these in ~/.hermes/.env after forking:

  • OPENROUTER_API_KEY — your model key
  • EMAIL_ADDRESS, EMAIL_PASSWORD, EMAIL_SMTP_HOST, EMAIL_IMAP_HOST — a dedicated sending mailbox, via hermes gateway setup
  • STRIPE_SECRET_KEY — your own Stripe account, so client money lands in your bank
  • DEPLOY_TARGET — the Caddy VPS or Vercel target you control
  • GH_TOKEN — optional, to push each client repo to GitHub

Your first five minutes

Say one line: "Build a landing page for Phoenix Desert HVAC."

It shortlists references, writes BRIEF.md, plans the page, writes DESIGN.md, generates the branded Astro site, builds a preview, and drafts the outreach email with the preview link in it.

Then read the brief and argue with it. That part is still your job.

Honest limits

The template ships the workflow, not a book of clients.

Real client repos are your runtime data, created after you fork. Outreach is personalized and low-volume with an unsubscribe — this is not a bulk cold-email cannon, and it is not an SEO product either. Hosting is yours: a VPS you control or a Vercel account. Headless-Chrome system libraries are baked into the image, and the browser binary downloads once per fork on first run. Hermes only, and brand-identity work without a conversion page is the wrong fit.

Model spend and client hosting are yours. 30-day money-back on your first jurniti purchase.

Fork it. Brief one real local offer. Send one preview.

Inside this fork

Forking copies this template into a brand-new, fully isolated microVM on your own subdomain. Here's exactly what lands in it.

  • Hermes Agent agent

The upstream harness, pre-installed — same version the creator ran.

  • Starter VM

    1 vCPU · 2 GiB RAM · 10 GiB disk.

  • Creator's /persist data

The captured persist volume is copied byte-for-byte into your fork.

Add your model API keys after forking; they live only inside your microVM.
