Exo is a recursively self-improving agent harness — it can rewrite its own code, and those edits live on persist. BYOK. No vendor relay.

• Pinned checkout pre-baked. Write your OpenAI or OpenRouter key into ~/exo/byok.env, then run `exo`.
• Self-improvements (SELF.md and the TypeScript harness the agent rewrites) live on persist — a reprovision keeps them.
• Vendor ExoChat relay is off. The shipped config names no vendor host; a fork never inherits a relay identity.
• Live in-browser terminal. No guest-bound dashboard to proxy.
• Real Firecracker isolation, Docker sandbox in-guest. Public templates stay vetoed until a capture canary.
