About this template
You already know content is how people find you. This does it every week without you.
You answer seven questions once. After that, on the day you pick, a full week of writing lands on your phone — already researched, already drafted, waiting for one word from you.
What you get
Answer seven questions about what you sell and who buys it. Then every week, on the day you choose, this operator hands you:
- One long-form newsletter issue, drafted from what people in your niche actually discussed in the last thirty days — not from what a model remembers.
- Six to ten short posts, each cut from that issue, each tagged with what it does for the reader and how much they already know about your problem.
- Two conversion pieces — one the day before your issue lands, one the day after. These are the only two that mention what you sell.
- A posting calendar placing every approved piece into a real slot.
Nothing sends, schedules, or publishes without you saying yes.
Why eight posts sell nothing
Because that is what buys the right to sell twice.
A feed that pitches every day gets scrolled past. A feed that never pitches never converts. This operator writes eight pieces that are worth reading on their own, then asks — twice, deliberately, pointed at one destination you own.
That split is not a guideline it tries to follow. The skill that writes your posts is not given your offer at all — it cannot mention a price or a link because it does not have them. A separate skill writes the two that do. The rule holds because of how the thing is built, not because it was asked nicely.
It runs itself
The weekly batch is a real scheduled job on your own box, on your day and time. It wakes up, reads your positioning, checks what happened last week, researches, writes, and sends the batch to your phone — Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, or email.
You reply approve all, or reject s4 — too close to last week and get a
rewrite. Approved posts come back as plain text with a slot next to each. The
issue goes to your own newsletter platform as a draft, gets test-sent to you,
and sits there until you say send.
Try it right now
Two commands, then two sentences:
hermes config set OPENROUTER_API_KEY sk-or-v1-...
hermes config set model anthropic/claude-sonnet-4.5
Then say "set me up", answer the seven questions, and say "run this week's batch".
You get back a topic pick with the evidence behind it, a full issue, six to ten
posts, two conversion pieces, and a calendar. Reject one — reject s4 — too close to last week — and watch it come back rewritten while everything else
stays put.
The interview is the long part, and it is seven questions.
It gets sharper every week
Tell it what happened — who replied, who asked what it costs, who bought. It weighs a buying question far above forty likes, and biases about a third of next week toward whatever actually worked. Save the posts that land in your niche and it writes from those structures instead of generic ones.
What you bring
- A model key.
- A newsletter platform you control (self-hosted; the template drives its API).
- A messaging channel, if you want the batch on your phone.
- Optional research keys. Skip them all and it still works — several sources need no key at all.
This is for you if
You sell something, you know content is how people find you, and you keep not doing it — because you run out of ideas, or every post you write reads like an ad, or you have written for months into a platform you do not own.
This is not for you if
- You want video. This is writing.
- You want it to post to social for you. It writes and queues; you post.
- You want to skip the review step. Every piece stops for your yes, on purpose.
- You do not sell anything yet. The whole funnel points at an offer.
