Setup prompt + walkthrough

The Sentry AI Skills Pack for Claude Code setup prompt + walkthrough

Paste this into any capable agent and it walks you through the connections, the trigger, and a supervised first run — the whole setup, in your own words. Or skip the setup and run this exact agent hosted.

Set up an agent for me, in its own chat, that does the work of a AI Skills Pack. Work from the files and facts I actually give it, rank what matters by impact rather than by how many items it found, and stop short of sending, filing, posting, or changing anything live unless I ask for that in the same run. Walk me through connecting Anthropic. Have it run whenever I hand it the work, and every weekday morning on whatever I left unfinished. Ask me where the source material lives, who should receive the output, and what good enough looks like for a first pass. Run one pass while I watch, then save it.

About this template

Sentry's official AI skills. Your box. Your keys.

If you already pay for Sentry and want its agent skills running on an isolated machine you control, this template is for you.

Sentry ships first-party agent skills in the getsentry/sentry-for-ai repo. This template clones that repo into your VM and stages the skill files under ~/.claude/skills/, so Claude Code can work your Sentry org with your token.

The agent drafts. You approve every production monitor change.

What the Sentry AI skills do

Ask Claude Code to list your unresolved issues and it walks the skill prompts against your org. From there it drafts alert notes and debugging steps for you to review before anything touches a monitor. When you want the full plugin path, run the official npx @sentry/ai install inside the VM; the skills are already staged either way.

What you get when you fork

  • A local clone of getsentry/sentry-for-ai under $HOME/src
  • The skill files staged in ~/.claude/skills/
  • A vault file at ~/vault/sentry.md

What you connect

  • Claude Code login or ANTHROPIC_API_KEY
  • SENTRY_AUTH_TOKEN from your Sentry org

Both live only as env vars inside your VM. jurniti never holds your keys.

Who this Sentry AI template is for

You pay for Sentry, you use Claude Code, and you want agent-native setup, debugging, and alert drafting on a box that is yours alone.

Not for you if you want jurniti to hold your Sentry org keys. We don't. BYOK only.

Fork it

Fork the template, export your Sentry auth token, and run your first issue-list prompt. Change monitors only after you review the draft.

Your copy boots on its own subdomain in about 3 minutes, and your first purchase carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Part of the Software Factory collection.

Inside this fork

  • Creator's /persist data

The captured persist volume is copied byte-for-byte into your fork.
