Reddit Launch Playbook for Claude Code: One Sub a Day

Most Reddit launches are the same post in fifteen subs in one day.

Then silence. Or a ban scare. Or a free-trial funnel nobody trusts.

There is a better notebook pattern: map niche communities, tell one problem-solution story, post at most one sub per day, track the CTA, refresh the angle after about fifteen days.

This is that playbook on a managed Claude Code microVM.

The offline demo (about five minutes)

Fork. Open Claude Code with your own Anthropic account.
Paste the offline prompt from ~/CLAUDE.md.
You get one draft under ~/reddit-launch/drafts/, a posts-log row, and a hard block if you try a second sub the same day.

No Reddit login required for that path.

Cadence is the product

check-cadence.sh reads the posts log. Same calendar day already used? It refuses.

Day 15 (or 15 posted rows): the skill expects a new angle and demo brief before you continue. That is the anti-spam floor.

If your notebook still says "drop a free trial link," rewrite it. Bootstrap economics do not ship free compute.

Optional research arm

When last30days is installed on the host, use it for Step 1 (which subs are actually talking) and for the refresh. Write notes into subs.md and cycle.md. When it is not installed, map from product knowledge and manual browsing. Offline fixtures still pass.

What is the Reddit Launch Playbook template?

How is this different from the Reddit karma / Loopany comment template?

Karma is pure-value comments with no links. This playbook is for top-level launch posts that may end with one paid product URL or money-back language. Different job. Do not merge them.

Is there a free trial?

No free trial and no free tier. CTAs are paid product URLs with UTMs or first-purchase money-back honesty. Forking provisions a paid plan.

Does it auto-post to every subreddit?

No. Default is draft-for-review. A cadence script refuses a second sub on the same calendar day. Live posts need your approval and, if used, OpenCLI with a browser bridge.

What is last30days for?

Optional research for Step 1 (map subs and community language) and the day-15 refresh. Install the last30days skill if you want it. Offline acceptance never requires it.

What do I fill in after fork?

PRODUCT.md, icp.md, expand subs.md, set cycle.md (one pain + demo brief path), keep config on draft-for-review until you trust the voice.
