# Remote CLI Development Planner

**To fork:** open https://www.jurniti.com/templates/remote-cli-dev-planner and use the Fork action — it starts a Stripe Checkout for a new VM seeded with this template's persist disk (same flat plan price, no fork fee).

## README

# Point it at a repo. Get a plan and a diff. You merge.

If you want an always-on box that plans and implements, and you will not let it merge until you name the branch, this is that box.

Fork it. Open the terminal. Sign in to Claude Code or set `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`. Point it at a small in-repo task. You get a plan file and a worktree diff. Ask it to merge without naming the branch. It refuses. That refusal is the product.

This VM is the remote machine. It does not SSH to your laptop.

## What is in the fork

- **CLAUDE.md** — human gate, and "this VM is the remote machine."
- **remote-cli-planner skill** — plan + implement in a worktree. Never merge. Never SSH off-box.
- **human-gate-merge rule** — merge only after you say approve merge on the named branch.

Codex CLI is optional later. The planner works without it.

## First five minutes

1. Fork this template. You get an isolated Claude Code microVM.
2. Sign in to Claude Code or export `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` (your key, your bill).
3. Give it a repo path and a small task.
4. Ask it to merge without the branch name. Confirm it refuses.

No model key is stored in the snapshot. Public capture is scrubbed.

## Who this is for

- Developers who want a box that stays on and does the work here
- People who will not let an agent merge or SSH to a laptop on day one
- Anyone who wants a plan file and a worktree, not a silent push to main

## Who this is not for

- A replacement for `vertical-slice-planner-sf`
- Anyone who wants the agent to merge without naming the branch
- Anyone who wants the agent to SSH to their laptop

## Risk

Every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first purchase. There is no free trial. If it merges without you, you get the money back. You keep the key.

## Next

Fork it. Give it a small task. You should see a plan and a worktree diff. Then ask it to merge. It should wait for you.
